For what it's worth, all of my V3s and the V3i's front displays stay illuminated when they are charging. Probably the same case for yours. Doesn't bother me, is it a problem for you?

No really a problem. I just find my battery is dying very quickly and there is only 2.5 hours total talk time on this phone. So I thought that there might be a fault in the charger causing the front display panel to stay lite and nessing upi my batteries charge memory. On my charger for the V635 there are 3 small copper contact pins at are visiable, 1 of those pins are a bit longer then the other 2. Is that normal for a motorola chargers?

Has the display always been illuminated when the phone is charging or did it just start doing this? And how old is the phone? Batteries, overall, seem to be good for a year to a year and a half or so, then I have to replace them. Not sure about the varying pin lengths, I think that as long as they all make contact, that shouldn't be an issue.
Sorry, I'm not much help. I'm just not familiar with that model of phone.

Since I got the phone (about 5 days ago) the front display has stayed lite when charging. Not really too sure how old the phone is because I bought it second hand but he said it was pretty much new in box, and it looks like it is. I just thought that i should try my car charger for it and see if it stays lite when charging with that. I may need to get a new battery now. Thanks for the help man!
