Hi, my contract with Verizon is up, and I plan on upgrading. When I looked online, it said that the primary line (my husband) has the new every two and my line is primary and it doesn't have it. I do NOT plan on upgrading my husband's phone, because he RARELY uses his phone, and he could care less about getting a new one. My LG is getting ancient, and I am ready to upgrade. I was wondering if there is a way that Verizon can make MY line the primary so I can be eligible for the New Every Two, NOT my husband. Or any other way that I can get the New Every Two. Any help will be MUCH appreciated!!!

vzw monster,
Overall your best bet is to upgrade under your husband's #, either online or thru customer service.. You will have to activate the phone "OTA" on his # first but can then change the phone over to your line. You can do that all on the phone only takes few minutes, no charge.. Then if you want to make your # primary have it changed after the upgrade otherwise if you change primary line prior to upgrade you will have to wait for the New Every 2 !

Question: Can I just go to a corporate store and they can do all of this for me? Can they just call Cust Service and do it all?

You can go to the store to upgrade, they will activate the new phone on the # you are upgrading.. As far as changing the phone over to the other line, from my experience with sales rep's they generally advise you to wait 24 hrs (reason being tracking for the upgrade gets extremely confusing on the acct if you upgrade and move to different # right away.) So, yes you can upgrade at the store, they will activate on your husband's # then you can call cust service to change, just have both phones with you because if you don't the other person prior phone will not work, (Ok starting to confuse myself, trying to explain, but the store can help you!
