ive had my 6280 for around 2 weeks now... at first it was great, but recently, when im playing the music player, occasionally it beeps, then resets the phone... this seems to happen around 70% of the time during the couse of me listening to my playlist
another thing it has been doin is telling me the my message sending failed. i cant work out why, as i have full reception. it has done this afew times so far, and its getting very aggrovating when i need to rely on it to send important messages.
anyone else have these problems, or know what i can do to fix these
my firmware info is
v 03.81, 9/5/06, rm-78

Could it be a provider problem? Called them?
And for the music player: what kind of music do you use? Sometimes mp3s in with a bad VBR cause trouble on phones.

i have moved the sim card to another phone, and it works fine... so im guessing it has something to do with the phone itself

3.81 is the latest firmware, but I just read that many, many other people have a problem with the phone (one guy got his 5th new 6280).
Seems to be a common problem with the 6280.

I've been having similar problems with my 6280 (v3.65 22-3-06). Interestingly it seems that when I am overseas on a "quality" network they all go away. (ie. try the CSL network in Hong Kong - full 3G coverage everywhere as opposed to the rubbish that optus offer in Australia)
I suspect that the phone just doesn't like trying to switch around between 3G/2G networks & basestations whilst doing anything else. Either a really nasty firmware problem they need to work on or something underspec in the phone.
Interesting that an upgrade to V3.81 of firmware didn't fix the problem. Have you taken it back to see what they see about warranty yet??

hay my dad brought me a new phone for my birthday i think it is a nokia 3250...
i had an arguement with him the other night and turned my phone off and when i turned it back on the next morning it asked for a lock code...
now has he rang up and cancelled my phone because thats the only thing i can think of...
i tried the "12345" code
i tried formatting it by holding the green talk key, the * key, the 3 key and turning it on and it formats it then still asks for the lock code...
can anyone please help me...
thanx
