There is something I am missing, or my phone just got crazy!
I succesfully convert MP3 to .3gp file using SUPER by eRightSoft. Then I transfer via USB cable it to my t-mobile Samsung t619 to Music folder, also no problems. BUT, when I try to play it on the phone I got "Unsupported Content" message.
I tried different converter software. With that converter I can play the file on the phone, but I got the same error trying to set it as a ringtone.
Anybody knows what's going on?
Thanks in advance
You need to make sure the conversion is from Mp3 to Mp4 (AAC Format), so the converted file has a name that ends in .M4a. The .M4a can then be backspaced away and replaced with .3gp. It is also a good idea to work with a 20 to 30 second clip, and not the entire song.
Instead of the software you have tried using, I would suggest using Apple's Itunes. It allows you to right click on a Mp3 song and convert it to AAC Format. Itunes can also be downloaded for free to a Windows based PC.
When the song is properly converted, it can definitely be ported over to the phone and used as a ring tone or caller ring tone.

To whom it may concern:
I don't think it has been mentioned, but it has come to my attention that a .3gp clip cannot be too short. If you are using clips shorter than about five seconds you may get an error when you go to save it as a ringtone.

If you go to the Samsung web site, you can download free software for the phone called PC Studio. There are some earlier posts in this forum by people who have used this software to port songs over to the T619 phone, and have been quite successful so long as the song is in the proper format.
I move songs over to my 2 phones using bluetooth on an Apple Macintosh, so I have not had any reason to try using the PC Studio software and a cable. It does work fine, according to earlier reports, so I would recommend giving it a try.
Good luck.

I use a Macintosh for all my computer needs, and have not found a problem in attaching a music file (.3gp) to an e-mail and sending it to someone else (Mac or PC). I just now sent myself an e-mail with a .3gp file attached, and it came through fine.
Is the Macintosh computer at your place of work receiving the e-mail, and the problem is with the attached .3gp file, or is the problem with the e-mail? What e-mail program is being used on the Macintosh, MS Entourage, Apple's Mail program, or something else?
If you want to provide me with an e-mail address for the Mac, I will send you one of my .3gp songs attached, and you can see whether or not it is accessible.

I STILL cant add MP3's to my phone and apply them as ringtones. I tried every method everyone has posted and I still can't do it. Can someone tell me a different and an assuring way for me to add them as ringtones.
