okay the big thing that is killing me lately is when u ask someone for there wireless # and they ask oh do u want my account number or my wireless number? SERIOUSLY i JUST asked for the WIRELESS number? what part confused u?
okay feel a bit better now that i have vented

or when you say that they need the debit or credit card to be billed to the physical address and they say yes that it is and then when you are setting up their account and they give you a PO BOX for their address... okay i work in sales and our systems do what is called Address Verrification and so it looks at what is set as the phones shipping address and what the credit card company has on file for the billing address if these do not match up then the sale cannot go through. also on the same note i have noticed that our customer service and our billing department also have the same systems for them to be able to process payment on your bill... its a great feature because it helps cut down on credit card fraud. but it doesnt really help the honist customers who are maybe in the military or in college or are on vacation.... anyway thats my rant for now!

so i just took a call where the girl spelled her name to me.... the kicker is that her name was serious ann smith... as she is spelling i am thinking to myself... ur mom dropped u on your head as a child didn't she? i dont understand why ppl with easy name choose to spell there names for us.... (shakes head)

I am in UMTS training as I write hmm, I am reminded of a call from Randal, "that's R-A-N-D-A-L," If you ever get a call from our Randal (cingular) That's how i noted it too. R-A-N-D-A-L

i dont think it matters what company u are with stupid customers happen! wether it is a wireless company or not...

Well, My g-parents have their cell w/ an average of 38 minute of use a month. It's an emergency phone, e-m-e-r-g-e-n-c-y. thats why we got it for them =) If there is no use, that's great, g-r-e-a-t! Thats a diff side to the old people idea. lol

me: "take the back cover and battery off of the phone for me please" .....me:"now under the battery I need you to look at......." customer: "now is this on the battery or the phone" me: the "phone itself under the battery" customer "so I gotta take the batry out?" me: "yes so you are looking at the phone itself under the battery" customer "yes" me: "i'm looking for a 15 digit number it is ALL numbers in front of it it says imei in front of it usually under or below one of the bar codes it might have some dahes in it" customer: "ok cd5b225" me : wtf!!
and it's like this on EVERY call almost....
