I just got a V3i and i was wondering if there is supposed to be a service light in the front of the phone? The little slit under the motorola symbol...looks like there should be an LED there, but for some reason it doesn't "flash" or do anything. I worried that it is broken....that would suck. Anyway is there anyway to control it/program it to do anything?
Am I just unlucky and got a busted phone?

Neither. There's nothing under that little slit. Well, there's SOMETHING under there, but it ain't a light.

really now....because i can clearly see an LED, we're talking about the outside of the phone...if u look closely, u can see a little square glasslike piece thats within the slit...which i assume is an LED. lol

Do you mean the actual round M sign on the front or the slit underneath it?

Within the M logo there is a LED which should glow when charging, if you mean the slit underneath it then thats just the speaker

Correct, I just verified that on mine (wow, that little sucker gets loud when stuck up to one's ear...icon_surprised.gif)).
