Anyway i was walking around my house and my w600i fell outta my pocket onto hard wood floor, and now it can barely pick up a signal, it either gets 1 bar or 2 when it used to be full, and its not just in my area, i took it around everywhere. So i called up cingular's warranty excahnge, you guys think my phone can pass as a malfunction or just broken hardware. Theres no visable physical damage to the outside and it wasnt exposed to water, just wondering what you all think about my chances of getting a new working phone for free.

If the phone has no physical damage then u might be able to claim warranty

yea theres no visable damage lol, so i doubt they're not going to be able to determine what happed. It's not like they spend days examining a product, they just quickly look for water damage or broken parts and ba,.

If you send it in for a warranty check they will examine the phone for "impact zones", there not stupid, thats how my sister lost her warrenty claim. It sounds over the top but these guys examin phones for a livin! they kknow what to look for, besides physical damage that can be picked up by the eye
