When I connect my V3 to my computer, it says: "Looking for Software..." and I don't have any. I don't want to buy any so what should I do? I can put MP3's on my phone if I can get my computer to recognize the phone. HELP PLEASE!

Are you using Mobile phone tools? If you are, you'll need the drivers for the phone, which are on the cd that mpt is on, if not, you need mpt anyway to transfer ringtones, I suggest ebay for MPT.

I have a substitute for that, but I can't get the computer to recongnize the phone, or else I could put the ringtones on it, it is called: MOBLedit

Is there any other way I could get the phone onto my computer? (Get the computer to show the phone as a drive?)

I am not sure how...
I looked and it said that if I select the wrong driver, my phone is likely to screw up somehow...

When the install drivers window comes up, click browse for drivers, then select the folder where all of the Mobiledit info is, it will automatically install the correct driver

Download Motorola USB Driver from http://developer.motorola.com/?path=1.2.6.30
Install the program and use it to clean and reinstall the drivers
