hi all...i did a search, but i still have to ask- i am a mac user. If it exists, i would love a phone that can sync to my calendar/addressbook(not just phone numbers, but snailmail addresses too!). I am looking to get a smartphone....however, i work 1/2 the year in Italy, and 1/2 in the states. Thus, i have two sims that i carry. I understand the treo 650 speaks with the mac...is there anything else out there that can do this. I was hoping to avoid 3rd party softwares (pocketmac, etc) but would not rule it out if it is the only solution. Apple's website proved a worthless search.
Thanks

You've already mentioned what I would suggest (pocketmac).
However, I'm a little more new to this smartphone thing than you are (I'm probably getting one for my next phone), so hopefully somebody else knows of another option.

The only options that I can tell you are either a Treo or buying a smartphone and using Pocketmac to to sync....Blackberries work great with Pocketmac and it is also a free download. There are also iSync plug-ins for some devices I know there is a fix you can do for the Nokia E62 on Cingular. Treo's however seem to work better with Mac's. Hope this helps you!

I use Mac's exclusively and have excellent luck using Mark/Space Missing Sync with the Treo (works as a plug-in with iSync) and I am currently using Missing Sync with a BlackJack and it work flawlessly to sync with iCal, Address Book etc.... it will move iTunes libraries that are in MP3 format and iPhoto libraries - if you have the memory.
It isn't free but well worth the $40 and if you need a different version in the future they are 1/2 price - I just purchased a full version for the BlackJack for $19. There are cheaper solutions, but I have yet to find one that works as cleanly and elegantly - although I have not tried PocketMac.
Sorry, I don't know of any solution besides 3rd party software.
