I bought a V220 phone that was AT&T and I thought I would just unlock it to Cingular........well before unlocking I there was no way to check camera because of subsidy password.code......
soo I unlocked my phone and inserted my SIM card and everthing came up working fine........BUT ONE THING DID NOT WORK THE CAMERA........there were only 3 reason I got this phone: CHEAP, MP3 RINGTONES, AND CAMERA
I am 2 out of 3 now..........all of you have heard the :
click the camera, then it is just blank.......and then automatically goes back to the menu" problem.
I have tried master reset...............I read about re-flashing to enable the camera
what flash and/or flex do I need for Motorola.......I have R364_G_0B.D1.1 firmware on it now.....
THANKS
EDIT: just flashed with R365_G_0B.D2.2ER_PDS004_LP0003_DRM0001_JPJAVA_G_0B_V220_01_03_63R_GSIV 220M0CIN04NA16D_1FF.shx
and camera still doesn't work.........

Sounds like a hardware problem then. You could check the cable / connections

...I do not know how/what you mean.......I don't know how to check the connections
if it involves opening up the phone.......then I will not have a camera
