If I would like to call a friend during the free nights and weekends, would it count as long distance if they were in another state, such as Washington to California?

All of Verizon Wireless' most recent plans include nationwide long distance, so you can call from anywhere to anywhere whenever you want. I hope this helps.[/quote]

It would not count as long distance unless you have one of the old local plans. If you're on America's Choice then you're good to go.

Isn't that funny? I remember my first cell phone having 35 minutes of local calls for $35. It was the big grey brick phone, AKA drug dealer phone.
