Hi, i have the aboce phone for a week and now it is not picking up signal! it is definetly a faultof the phone not the simor network. i bought it on ebay and have the documents,waranty page etc. should i request a receipt from the seller? what should i do?

Yes. Did you buy it new? Hope that E-Bay seller was an authorized dealer? And yes, you will need to return it to Moto. Call the "Exclusive Dolce & Gabbana V3i customer service center" (800-520-6361) and start the process. At least mine worked for a month.

yes it was new.i am emailing him now to try get the receipt. he bought it sim free in the uk i know that through the imei.is that number for the usa?i am from ireland.

the seller says it is under 30 day return from where he got it so he will contac them and i shouldnt have to go through warranty, bloddy annoying though.

Oops, sorry, I ASSumed you were in the States. If the seller will exchange it, that's certainly less painful, if not less annoying. I'm beginning to wonder about the D&G V3i, frankly. I bought mine, the boss liked it and ordered one that arrived DOA. The seller exchanged it and he's had no problems since. I had mine for two months and it developed the popular dreaded "network not available" problem. Now it's been at the Moto repair facility for 3 weeks and NOW they can't find it. THAT'S bloody annoying!
