hey so does that mean that even if its unlocked like mine is , that i won't be able to actually use anything besides calling out and my music ?, cuz i know i can't use my text and all the other stuff, plus its telling me i need a code to enable my sim card, whatever that means ?

If it wants a code then the phone is locked. Unless you have tmobile the phone is useless. I suggest returning it or get tmobile service.

here u have the solution

1. Insert your non-TMobile sim card
2. The phone display says "Enter the code".
3. Press the "X" button.
4. You will see the menu.
5. Choose the left-up angle button.
6. Choose "setting"--->"network"--->"scan and select manually".
7. The phone will search for your network.
8. When it finds your network, you can use the phone to make calls

I bet you've done nothing. Its posts like this that make people think it can be unlocked. Just leave the subject alone. And watch the language on the forum.
