maybe if u had one and stuck a cingular sim card and then clicked menu and looked for network and located a cingular tower, you would know that it allows you too make calls, but you ignorant and dumb people who apparently know nothing have your brains too far up your asses to know that.
by the way software for the sdk3 is configured with danger and not even danger sidekick3 specialist who have unlock codes can unlock it, ive tried, but on ebay when it says NEW UNLOCKED SIDEKICK3, its just a lie.

WE ALREADY know this bs and thats why i talk about just using the sidekick as just a phone its pointless!
and notice every one who ask for the unlock codes he number of post that they have is most likely under 10.

actaully its possible to unlock a side kick 3 but u will only be able to use the phone. if u want to know how just post another post

It can be UNLOCK. T-Mobile used to offer unlocking your phones or sidekick for FREE if you were with them for over 3 months and still with them. but now it no longer offer that service. Once you unlocked your phone. you'll only be able to use phone calls and text messaging and i play mp3s too. Data service and Instant messaging it won't work.

i got my unlocking code for t-mobile sidekick three from cellularclinic&com. only phone part and SMS work. no internet. better then nothing.

We can unlock it by code. Simple as that for Sidekick 1, 2,3, all networks. Goto our website Global Unlock (you can google it)
sk can only be unlock for OVERSEAS CARRIERS AND FOREIGN COUNTRY.you get the drift.so please stop calling tmobile and trying to get an unlock code because your not going to get one if you are using cingular at&t cricket alltel nextel US sim cards! beside tmobile sidekick dept doesn't have it! ex: one man bought a bnib sk lx and told a cingular dealer to call in and get the unlock code so he can use it under cingular.omfgosh and he call in like 5 times that day and speaked to the supervisor like 3/5 times.i guess whatever he hears goes in one ear and out the other.i had to explain to him over and over like 293475943894572897 times good lord! and you want to get mad at the rep because your dumb self didn't get all the info correctly and got jipped and the cingular dealer told me it was probably impossible to unlock it and when the man came on the line the dealer switch up the story and said that he seen some cingular customers used it on the cingular network before.busted how sad no wonder MOST of the dealers LIE SO DAMN MUCH! well there you have it people i just wanted to get my little 10 cent in there lol!
