Is it possible to convert the .amr files to .wav or another windows compatible format?
Which software can do this?

Quicktime Pro 6.3 or 6.4 can convert .amr files into .wav, .mp3 or .aiff formats.

Not 'probably' Quicktime does convert them if you have the Pro version.
