I'm currently with Verizon Wireless... I've had the same phone for 2 years so I'm up for my New Every 2. Catch is, I'm not into any of their smartphones. I had to sign a new contract (and not get a new phone) July '05 to get my contract from my Dad's name to mine.
I'd like to switch to T-Mobile to get the Blackberry Pearl. Is there any way T-Mobile will pay my early termination fee at Verizon (or give me the Pearl for free, which is about the same value) in order to get me to switch? It makes sense to me because I'll be giving them 2 years of my money, but I'm not sure if anyone has ever been able to do that before.
Thanks!

Good luck, though. Maybe you can get someone to take over your service and phone for the remainder of the contract??

There is no way that will happen. Although it would make an interesting twist if they started all doing that. Can you imagine? It would be war.
