I am pretty sure, now, that Tmobile has a faulty minute counter, at least in
my case. I am on a family plan, basic 700, and whenver I call within
network, which is supposed to be a free call, the minute counter would
deduct the mintues from my Whenever 700 minutes. Guys, I would really
suggest you to be keep a close eye on your minutes. Their system is faulty.
It happened with me last year too.
Let me give you an example to make it more clear to you.
I logged into my account and noted down the whenever minutes used up
until the specified online time stamp, Saturday, Oct 14th, 6:06 a.m and lets
say 67 used min of 700 in my case. Now when I checked my minutes again
in the evening around 6 p.m, the counter showed 97 of 700 used minutes
until 12:02 p.m, Oct. 14th, Saturday.
Now I don't understand why the counter would take minutes away from
whenever minutes on a weekend and on top of that, all the calls were
Mobile to Mobile.
I've started to check back on my minutes more often now and to save a
copy ( hit Print Screen), every time I log in, for the specified time stamp to
use it as a reference to dispute with Tmobile later on.
I am not really surprised at this because this happened with me last year
too and the guy I spoke with about it admitted about this error.
But its just not easy convince these Tmobile customer reps about it, coz
they would tell ya their system is accurate and something's wrong at your
end.
Guys, beware....if suspicious, always add up your minutes, excluding the
free calls
Has anyone else experienced a similar problem with their minutes?
thanks,

i took a look at my bill and next to mobile-to-mobile it says "unlimited", it says the same next to nights & weekends as well. It then shows how many minutes you have used during those periods. For a best bet look at your contract and see if it says free nights & weekends, cause some plans dont come with that. If it does just tell the customer service rep, or go to a corporate store, they're usually real cool there. M2M should always be free (except for faves plans). Hope this helps!

If either party of an m2m call is roaming, then m2m will not be used and your whenever or weekend pool will be. Were both of the m2m parties in your case currently in the tmobile network and phones displaying tmobile as the current provider?

This is what I have
Summary of Unbilled Services as of" 10/14/06 06:16:22 A.M (SATURDAY)
Included Used Remaining
700 67 618
later on, when I checked again
Summary of Unbilled Services as of" 10/14/06 12:02:03 P.M (SATURDAY)
Included Used Remaining
700 97 603
I did make some M2M calls on this saturday but I don't why my whenever minutes would suffer because of that.
Evaluate it yourself people, tell me, what can be the possible reason for this?

I was on the phone on a weeknight at like 8:55 or 57 and i'm thinking well 9:00 is gonna come soon, so i keep talking and i was on that call for 90 Minutes and They charged me like 27.90$, and my mom called and they said that their computer did not recognize that it was 9 o'Clock. And first time my mom called about it she said the women would not give her a credit for those minutes charge. But the second time she called with another custmore service rep. they gave her credit for it.

If you start any call on any carrier before your free (night and/or weekend) minutes start, you use whenever minutes until that call is over. For example, I start a 60min call at 8:45pm. At 9:01pm when night minutes start, I will still be using whenever minutes until I hang up and call another person. This is clearly outlined by tmobile and other carriers.

ahg - I am having trouble with T-Mobile taking my minutes during nights/weekends as well.
Please review the following post, and determine if this problem sounds like the same issue that you are having. If so, please email me at the address included in this posting.

I had a similar situation but not for the amount that you are talking about. It is true that M2M minutes do not count if one of the parties is roaming. As for your minutes used changing between 6:06 am and noon the same day all I can say is this. I dial #646# on my phone to check minutes used before and after calls if I feel something is amiss. I have noticed that going into the weekends it sometimes takes longer to have the counter updated on how many minutes I have used up to that time. Tech Rep explained to me that is because even though unlimited nights start at 9 your weekend minutes DO NOT start at Fri evening at 9. TMO keeps FRI night minutes used from 9 to 5:59 am then they track minutes as weekend minutes. this is done for their research on customer usage to better help reception issues. But like I said earlier you can dial #646# at anytime to find out how many minutes you have used and then after your call to see if you are being accurately billed.

Not true. VZW does differentiate on a call. Call starts at 8:57 is charged 4 mins peak and then starting at 9:01 goes to offpeak/nights/weekends.
