OF COURSE IT'S FASTER!
Now, try to compare it to our 3G UMTS HSPDA and you will get shot down.
Just wanted to clear that up.

That's not Verizon that's doing the commercial, it's Sprint. It's the one where the 2 guys from the Westerns are drawing guns. Do your research first, Manator---you should know that VZW doesn't do that.

Though, yes, their ads tend to, well be the rest of today, they show completely unrelated interpersonal crap, which rarely has anything remotely to do with cellular phones or their actual service/features being currently offered
They just tend to bite the legal bullet, most of the time, on the down low, of course.

dude you need to study your technology, because verizons evdo when revision a is deployed will be even faster than it is now, plus verizon utilizes a dedicated data link, cingular does not and prioritizes voice on its link so even with cingular 3g which is behind schedule on deployment is inferior to vzws

oh and by the way its EVDO revision 0 not CV/DO. Edge is 2.5g, Which I have a 2125 cingular phone and Edge works good its defenately faster than dial up I think of it as 128k ISDN speeds.,and I have my 8300 which uses EVDO, very fast and impressive data speeds.
