Any idea if Vzw will allow the disabling of voicemail? That is, disable the service on a given number.
For all those who read this quizzically, I assure you, the concept is far from ludicrous.

Yes, I wanted to know if, for a particular number, the voicemail service could be disabled or discontinued. e.g. if you call that number, it will ring, and there will be no voicemail -- simple, right?

If you can't make the change on verizonwireless.com, call thier customer service, should take a total of 3-8 min, depending on how much of your calling plan that want to go over with you.

it would be nice to selectivly turn it on and off have it on when phone is off and turn it it off if one would wish to do so durning the day. what is so nut on that you can do it to some home voice mails.
