What does it mean when I am trying to install a language pack onto my phone and it says "Error" Unable to connect to the Subscriber Unit. Unable to get string descriptors.
What am I doing wrong?!
Also for the SEEM editing in the tutorial it doesnt explain how to figure out bit, state, and value.
you gave me 004a_0001
offset 148 (01 for MTWTFSS week format in calendar, 00 for SMTWTFS week format in calendar)
When I enter the offset how do I make sure it is 00 for SMTWTFS do I enter that as bit and state?

What version RSD Lite are you using?
What file are you trying to flash?
What is your current s/w version?

I am using RSD_Lite_1.9.1 because I don't know where to find the more updated version.
I am trying to flash the US language pack.
I am also trying to SEEM edit the calendar settings so its SMTWTHFS and you told me that it was:
004a_0001
offset 148 (01 for MTWTFSS week format in calendar, 00 for SMTWTFS week format in calendar)
When I enter the offset how do I make sure it is 00 for SMTWTFS do I enter that as bit and state?

For the seem edit follow the seem editing guide in the tutorial section
What is the exact file name of the language pack
Type *#9999# on the phone and post the s/w version shown
You may need to find a later version of RSD Lite

I did follow your tutorial for the seem edit but it does not explain how to find the bit, state, or value?!
The exact file name of the language pack is:
R374_G_0E.41.C0R_MXLP0001_reflash_MOTOX
The s/w version is:
R4515_G_08.BD.43R
Where do you think I can find the later version of RSD lite?

You have a V3r - thats why the language pack won't flash to it.
I'm not aware of any V3r language packs at present
For the seem edit 004a_0001
offset 148 (01 for MTWTFSS week format in calendar, 00 for SMTWTFS week format in calendar)
Means SEEM = 004a Rec = 0001 Offset = 148 Enter a value of 00 or 01 and hit set value
