I am not sure what to do about this. I bought a unlocked black razr on ebay, not knowing it would be a European version. I have checked my settings, and it appears that I can now send and receive MMS messages, however I still cannot access MEdia Net. This is what I see on the screen:

[]
Search
If I select prev, it takes me to the MEdia Net screen, but I cannot access anything or click on anything and it just looks like text, no images or special graphics or anything like usual Media Net screen.
I am completely new to this, and dont understand the technical items discussed. If anyone can help, I would be SO appreciative!!

Have you called into Customer Service for the issue. If you haven't... do so and have them make sure the internet settings are correct. Unfortunately, sometimes unlocked phones may not be able to send mms or log onto the internet. But definitely give Cust service a call to check it out.

Yes I did, they had me reset the phone and they sent me the settings, but it still is not working correct. I can send and receive MMS though.

First off, read the forum for similar topics.
When you have an unlocked phone, the media net is not guaranteed to work.
In other words, your phone cannot use media net.

I have been reading and searching the forums, and a lot of people have had the same problem and have gotten some nice people to help them fix it. I am just not familiar with technical things like firmware and flex, etc. and I have no idea what that means or if thats what I need. I am obviously not getting help in the Cingular forum, so I will look for help elsewhere.

if the wap setting are input into your phone correctly, and it's still not working, post in the motorola forum about flashing with a cingular flex.
