It seems to me by the look of their website that They don't offer the silver one anymore? Anyway I thought this was black by the picture but apparently it is a purplish color (?) Anyone have this, I was thinking of getting It, I haven't seen it in person so I'm not so sure the purple color looks any good. Other than that is this a good phone? Its an upgrade from a Samsung e335. Thanks

don't have it but looked at it at my local retailer. they had both the silver and plum however only the plum was my faves capable. the plum looked nicer than the silver but is a dark purple and very cool

The idea behind the purple color is that it is supposed to be a hot color for the season.

well it is a hot color but wasn't sold on the device. I am a fan of a thin device, RAZR owner, and will be going to the Dash next, but if a thin candybar is what I am looking for , the Trace would be by choice.

IMO yes a little. it felt more like a thin TV remote than a phone. one thing that drew me to the RAZR was it was a little wider than most non PDA or Smartphones.

The trace is almost as long as the T509, but fits much better in your hand, it also has more options/features. If you want to buy one I definetely recommend going to a store and compare in person.

If I were to get the Silver one, The regular T509, is there a difference between that and the pLum besides the color? And would this overall be a good upgrade from the Samsung e335 flip phone?

The t509s has myfaves, t509 does not. That's the only difference I know of.

THE FONES ARE THE EXACT SAME EXCEPT FOR THE MYFAVES. NO FEATURES!!! THE ONLY THING IT HAS GOING FOR IT IS ITS THIN DESIGN AND LIGHT WEIGHT.
IF U WANT TO USE IT FOR MP3'S DONT WASTE UR TIME. T-MOBILE LOCKS THE SH*T OUT OF THERE FONES.
