Anyone have any on-hand experience with this phone. I know that Cingular is about to pick up this phone and release it here in the states. What do you all think about it?

Sharp device. I too would like to know more. Does anyone know if this thing supports Janus DRM?

Nice phone. slim, big, crisp screen - oh man, I love using 240x320 wallpapers. ANIMATED ones, too!
mp3s, wav, mmf as ringtones.
png, jpg, gif images for walls. Curiously, it runs a swf (Flash) to do random wallpapers...hmm...

I've had the phone for 1 day, and overall it's great.
But I'll likely return it because it doesn't support voice dialing.

Have had the phone for a week...
Like the big screen... put it next to a Moto Krzr, which looks just sad.
Light weight.
Like the Napster integration idea, though I didn't sign up for the 2 month free offer that comes with the phone.
Reception and call quality seemed good.
Only thing... still just doesn't have the looks of other phones, including the Motos. Amazes me that, with the exception perhaps of the Chocolates, that the mfrs simply can't make equally as attractive products... after all the Razrs been out forever at this point in cellphone time.

I think the phone looks pretty good. Definitely a lot better than the phone it replaced - the Samsung ZX20. What an ugly beast that was.

I agree. Definitely a step up for that line. But, still, that's the thing... walked into the downtown Moto store in Chicago with the A707 while waiting for some family members... from straight looks, I still have to say the Motos are much better.
Of course, the future is now about functionality, and increasingly less concerned with fashion... so I'll give it up to a pretty good music device by Samsung.
Of course, I'll be trading in whatever I have for the iPhone in January!
