I reset the time on my unlocked KRZR K1 when we rolled back the clocks. It did not change automaticly. However, the phone then swithed it back on me. I did not even realize what had happened till this morning. I then tried switching it back again thinking that I had done something wrong. Yet after a short time the phone automaticly rolled forward 1 hour again. In order to get the phone to not roll foward, I have had to change my time zone from Los Angeles (GMT -8:00) to Anchorage (GMT -9:00). The only thing I can think of is that the phone comes from a place that does not have Daylight Savings Time. Does anyone know of a way to fix this problem correctly with out having to do the work a round that I have done?

You could try turning off the time auto-update. It could be the carrier changing the time for some reason. Also, where are you located? I've heard of some areas where daylight savings time is not observed, but a carrier does, causing update issues, but I can't remember where this was reported to be happening at the moment. At any rate, your current solution might be your only and best solution...for the moment, anyway.

I live in Las Vegas Nevada. My phone does not give me an option to turn off the auto update for the time. The manual says it does. But, when I go to that section it only allows me to adjust the time manually. I was hoping there might be a seem that could be edited.

Try
SEEM 0032_0001
offset 00 - bit 0: Settings > Initial Setup > Time and Date > Autoupdate Menu (1 on, 0 off)
offset 55 - bit 2: Time Autoupdate (1 on, 0 off) <-- this will actually activate the feature, the menu item is in offset 00

Mikekay10,
I tryied editing that seem with your Seem Editor. Now my phone says that SEEM 0032_0001 is missing. However, the phone still seems to be working ok. I have a copy of the original SEEM 0032. But, I am not sure how to get it back onto the phone. Most of the P2k tools that I have tried with this phone do not seem to work properly. Any help you could give would be great.
I was also wondering what the master reset does to the phone?
Thanks in advance.

The master reset will put all the settings back to default - it won't undo seem edits
You can use the restore function in V2 of my prog to restore the SEEM or use p2k Man

I went back and tried to restore seem 0032_0001 using your seem editor 2.
This really messed up my phone. After rebooting the phone the round selection key on the phone no longer works. It will no longer power off without taking out the battery. I can not get to any of the menus because the select key is no longer working. The web Browser key is also no longer working. What now?
How am I supposed to us my phone now? How can I get these buttons working again?

I'm not sure where there are any flex's or seem backups for the KRZR
Did you definitely backup the SEEM before making any edits?

Yes, I used your seem editor 2 to make the backup. The problem occured when I tried to restore the seem that I had backed up originaly. I also opened the seem up in a hex editor and compared it with a seem that I downloaded with seemplayer 2..9.1. The seem included with seemplayer only has 16 lines. The seem that I backed up off my phone has 32 lines. I don't know if that makes any difference but figured I should tell you. If it would help I could email you a copy of the seem to look at.

I don't have a KRZR to compare it with unfortunately
The SEEM that came with SEEM player could be off an earlier model - later models generally add more bytes to the SEEM
