Ive only had my phone for a week and i'm ready to throw it out!!! I can't hear anybody and they can't hear me, the speaker option is gone and all that has changed is I have some stupid symbol that looks like a aarow and a lil square in my GPRS spot!!!! Is that the reason, or is my phone edited!!!

First, watch yer language, there are kids here (I know, their language is probably worse, but they don't need encouragement). Next, what kind of phone do you have? Next, did you screw around with the network settings? Next, you can try a master reset, if someone else doesn't have a solution for you. Finally, if all else fails, your phone is as you described in the last word of your post and you need to get it repaired or replaced.

In the "Settings" section (and I'm going back to a week when I owed a V3X until I realized that it wouldn't work on the 850 band, a necessity when using Cingular), there should be an "Initial Set-up" section. The "master reset" should be in this section at the bottom of the list. Like I said, I think that's right, or if not, look in the manual, which will hopefully be more help with this than with the auto-time feature. What carrier are you with?
Are you saying that you can make and complete a call, but you and the other caller can't hear each other? If so, then it sounds like a broken phone, but hopefully someone else will be more help than I've been.

You could try editing the gain table - but if it was working then suddenly stopped it sounds more like hardware
