Ive WSD from YAMAHA SMAF to convert wavs into mmf's for my samsung, I also have Nokia Multimedia converter 2.0 to convert wav to amr, what I am wondering is how much coverage is this, as in how many phones can use these file types? I don't want to convert it to a midi keyboard sound, as the track is too complicated for that, so im just after the file types that keep the audio aound as it's meant to be.
If there are other file types, what are they and how can I convert them?
I have PSMPlayer if that helps but nothing seems to work with it, it won't convert my 8Khz 8bit wav file to anything because it says 'WAV is not convertable for this format'. it does that if i try and convert my mmf to wav too! its very bizarre.

I think you need 22khz files to convert them to MMF. AMR and MMF is probably your best bet for Nokia and Samsung. You would also want to convert to ADP format for LG, and then MP3 for newer phones. Check out Ringtone Producer for more info...
