Hi, got a major problem with my phone:
Here goes,
I bought a phone locked to orange, managed to unlock it by downgrading the bootloader, flashing and unlocking, but the camera would not work - have seen this before in posts elsewhere, tried flashing with a different bootloader and reflash a few times. Pc crashed whilst flashing and now the phone has a blank screen, won't boot up to the bootloader and won't turn on. If i use rsd then it says that the phoner is blank.It won't flash with flash backup, i haven't got a working backup of the phone from new.. HELP!!!
I am confident in doing hardware resets if this is possible - i have heard about a method of test point shorting for earlier phones.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Did you make a PDS backup?
If not you will probably need a smartclip to rebuild the PDS

i didn't make a backup coz flash backup wouldn't have it.Have tried the test point method but to no avail (too fiddly)

You would still need a smart clip to repair the PDS anyway.
If you are in the US you could look for a post by Old Fool and send him an email - he has a smartclip
