I have a v3t from T-mobile and I'm near 50 text messages and I have started to get the message saying I have low memory. I've read the forums and my old v3 had the 30 msg issue... I can't connect p2k to the v3t and I've followed the directions on the site. Here is what is happening:
I connect v3t = iTunes launches. Detects removable storage device (SD card). p2k cannot connect
I connect old v3 = works as stated in the connection 'how to'
Does anybody have any advice?

Got it! That worked. However I can't find the tutorial on how to change text messages from SIM to Phone for the V3. I've used the search function and looked through the how-to posts. I must be over looking it. Do you happen to have a link or a specific text I should be doing a search for? Thanks.

http://forums.mobiledia.com/topic49764.html
And I need to do thi
offset 40 - bit 6: SMS storage (0 for phone, 1 for SIM)
I've saved my 0032_0001 but I'm unsure how to do the offset 40 - bit 6

I'm thinking the v3t is setup differently. I've tried the date on the front screen seem and it didn't do anything. Also I've changed the seem 40, offset 6, to 0 and to 1 and no matter what it's still giving me "memory low" message. This is after I delete message, then send them to my phone. First few there is no warning, then the warning comes.

Are you sure it is a V3t and not a v3r - there seems to be a lot of confusiom
The v3t is basically a V3i
The v3r is a different model entirely

It should be the same as a V3i then - you should be able to select by a menu option: Messages > menu > Message Setup > Text Msg Setup > Store To
If you don't have that option edit SEEM 0032_0001
offset 9A - bit 1: Messages > menu > Message Setup > Text Msg Setup > Store To: (SIM/Phone) (1 on, 0 off)
