I've an n73 and lately whenever your changing to different applications it seems to stall were one screen shot would sort of overlap the next. It doesn't change automaticaly it's like it slowly drags from one screen to the next. I've also had the problem when typing a text message where the phone will freeze altogether and the only way to fix it is to take the battery out. Then sometimes it reboots itself for no reson. Is there a fault with these phones?

If somebody has an idea I'm sure he/she would already have posted.
Maybe you are using an antivirus software on your phone which does realtime background scans and because of that your phone has problem.

No need to state the obvisous and Sarcasim doesn't suit you but as for your second comment. The phone is standard and theres nothing extra on it. Have read now that other people have experenced freezing so maybe it's a fault with the phone.

Have you done any updates to the firmware? If you haven't, flashing it to a newer version would probably take away the "bugs". Nokia's N Series are powerhouses, but have alot of bugs. Flashing would be your best bet. Search Google, and you can go from there.

the phone has a bug and flashing might not become useful as it freezes in the middle of apps and other stuff. try other options first then in the last try flashing with firmware.
