No it is _NOT_ a programming thing with Opera Mini. My phone does this with any unsigned Java App. On older phones(I don't know what the cutoff date was) I had 3 options: 'Ask once', 'Ask every time', 'No, never grant access.' I of course would like the first option- ask once. My Nokia 6030b is set that way,as was my Moto V180!
'A' for effort though.

(sigh) It is, I just can't find the link for the press release right now. I'm not saying other carriers don't do that,my only first hand experience is with Cingular/AT&T.

this sounds "cookieish".ensure cookies are enabled
To Allow Cookies:
From the "Standby Screen," press Menu.
Scroll to and select MEdia Net.
Scroll to and select Browser Settings.
Select Cookie Settings.
Scroll to and select Allow Cookies.
Select On.
it is unknown (by me) that changing your browser if this will apply, but its worth a shot).if there is no effect as a result of this check for the same topic in YOUR documentation that came with YOUR software.
Cingular will not support any software they dont sell or that has been added by the end user. that's why Cingular reps cant do anything but check settings

My "cookies" are just fine. My issue is with Java app. permissions. When you initialize an unsigned application the phone should ask for permission, which it does. My older phones had 3 options:'ask once per application', 'always ask', 'never grant access'. My CU400 doesn`t have the 'ask once' option that I desire. LG says it is AT&Ts branding, AT&T says its 'not their issue' as Malibu21 says.( Opera just laughs at that, btw.)
What it boils down to,for me at least, is if I'm going to pay $100 for 2 phone lines with the services and features that I want, I want my ask once option back! DAMMIT! GRRR!
