I just got a new cell phone today. I got the LG240 from rogers. For some reason I'm not able to put music onto it. I installed all the software, and can connect my phone to the computer using the USB cable. The software that comes up does not have a music section to it. The manual says that it should come up as a mass storage device, or a removeable device, but it doesn't. Can anyone help me????? It would be much appreciated.

Hey I had the same problem, I had to get Rogers to phone LG because they didnt know either. What you do is connect your phone to your PC witht the supplied USB cable, then on your phone press Menu, 9, 7, 4. You'll see why this makes sense when you do it yourself. As soon as you do this your phone comes up as a removable storage device in "My Computer". Then all you have to do is click and drag MP3's into the MP3 section of the "Mass storage device". The mp3's may not work right away though, you may get a "check format" message, just give it a few minutes and it will work. Hope that works for ya.

the memory card is the mini SD card that you put in the back of the phone under the battery. You don't need the mini SD adapter for anything unless you have an SD reader with your pc. If you do, you can transfer files that way as well. Double check that your memory card is installed properly or installed at all.

ya its the spot to the right of the SIM card under the battery, its held down with a metal clip. You should have got one with your phone, but if not i guess you'll have to go pick one up. If it's in there double check its in there properly but it's pretty hard to screw up i think. When I got my phone the guys at rogers installed it for me, so I didnt see where it was in the box. Maybe it's installed in the mini SD card adaptor?
