Hi guys!
I am from Oz and would like to buy a Sidekick 3 to use it here. But some of you guys said it will be locked even a prepaid one. I am not sure about US market but in Australia, all prepaid phones are locked to original service provider.
Actually I am just love that phone especially the LRG edition. I dont care about those network feature, IMs, Emails. I just need it can dial out and receive calls and sms.
Am I possible to buy one then use it in here? Or i will need to purchase an unlocked code?
Many many many thanks!
Aldo

Your not going to be able to get one to work. You country does have the sk2 though. Hopefully 3 will launch down under in the future.

Just the voice part of the phone will work. And everytime the phone loses power, everything in the device will be erased.

so for almost us$500 plus shipping and cost, i can only use a short-time memory mobile phone only.
