$18 million.
Get it right
We make nearly $50-$60 million a day just from out customers, all depending on their ARPU and such.

Oh, was it only $18 million? Sorry. I blow things out of proportion.

Heh
No problem - you made us sound better than what we are.
It's not that big of a deal though, Verizon spends almost the same amount a day too

Why you gotta be like that? you trying to give a hard time to a gentleman who is having serious problems? you should be ashamed to be a rep. he has a legit issue and your just shoving the rule book in his face, and even if it does state cingular doens't provide service in all areas, i bet your manager would throw that rule out the window if he knew the issue. as to you sir, i would speak with a rep, explain the issue, if they are willing to not help, escalate your situation to a supervisor/manager, and if they are unwilling to help you, escalate on them as well. here at cingular we would try our hardest to accomodate your situation, you just need to be persistant and you'll get results. |
and you telling someone to escalate to a manage when they dont get there way is a violation of COBC and all you do is make it harder for people to do there jobs , escalating to a manager doenst get things done all the time, most of the managers know less about whats going on thean the reps on the phone, not because ther dumb , but because most of them haven toaken a phone call in a few years and are out of the loop

there you go with the rulebook again....
absolutly managers half the time don't know what there doing when they take calls, but most of the time reps (such as myself) are caught up in policy's and procedures and don't seem to give enough empathy towards a specific situation. my manager stresses to us that if a customer is having a problem out of the ordinary and need help to work around the p&p's, explain the situation to him and he'll do his best. also customer rules right? LOL managers have more control over certain situations then reps do. i also don't pro-actively tell customers to escalate while i'm on the phone, but who says i have to follow company policy while i'm posting in a fourm???

HAHAHA... i highly doubt i would get fired for not following company p&ps in a FORUMS.. i'd more likely get terminated for posting in this fourm period, weather or not i'm following companies p&ps..

Some companies will track your movement and find out what you're saying - that is why I am uber careful on what I say bout the comapny
I have no malice whatsoever when it comes to Cingular except that they put intl roaming on my account w/o me requesting it because I wanted to request it, but no, they took that fun away from me.

haha.. every week we have a team meeting and this one guy just blasts cingular. screw this, screw that, nothing ever happens to him, and trust me, he HATES cingular as a company, and my supervisor is well aware of it. now i understand if somebodys going around giving out trade secrets or propritary information them being terminated, but it would almost be discriminating if somebody were to be terminated for voicing an opinion. freedom of speech right?
