Gosh, that phone is really putting you through the wringer (for the young-uns, that's a part of an old-fashioned washing machine...oh, never mind).
One of my phones kept losing its mind and I'd power down, power back up, it would be fine for a while, then go off again. That got really old after a week. I'd take it back for warranty service or exchange

Lol@ wringer...oh,never mind. Most people under the age of 20 dont remember corded phones, much less a'wringer'lol.
Gerio, this phones 1 week old. What are the odds of 2 phones in a row having the same(or similar) problems? I'm not arguing with you, just asking. I have the feeling this is gonna be a looong thread!

Are you using the same sim card in both phones? Sometimes a sim CAN cause this issue.

No. the nokia is 'smart chip', the moto(now dead) was an att card which was replaced.
I've had the nokia since October, it's been warranteed once, sim is 3 months old, too.
The moto was att and is at motorola for a software upgrade, it is not being used.

(lol) @ 'uncle'. No, y'all. With the moto, it happened before Opera. Good guess though.
