Hey guys not sure if this has already been asked or not so I appologize if it has since I'm new here and couldnt not find the answers to my problem. I purchased a black motorola razr v3 from ebay, everything works great except I am unable to send any messages out or use the browser. The browser said it needs to be setup and asks for service type, gateway ip, port, dns, username, password and all that good stuff. I dont know any of these settings. Would anyone know these settings or direct me to a page that has them I am currently on Rogers Wireless, in canada.

You need all the settings on your phone - MMS server info - websession and sms service centre. Try their website

I looked on there website but could not find anything regarding those 3 you mentioned

Rogers Wireless is gonna have to be the source of that information for your phone. The settings are different for each carrier. I looked around on that site for a while and didn't find the info. You might try calling their customer support dept and see if they will give you the settings. In this day and age of customer-provided phones, much to the carrier's chagrin, it's pretty lame to not furnish the settings on the website.

Good job, Civic. Thanx for posting that. Can you provide a link to that info, maybe the mods can post the link, or this info in a sticky.
