.sis-files are normal for your phone. They are like packed installation files.
Just copy them to the memory card is not enough.
Create a folder called "temp" or "tmp" on your memory card. This folder should be accessable by the internal file browser. Browse to this temporary folder and open these files. The installation routine will start, everything else is selfexplaining.
You might wanna get FExplorer, a free and much better file browser. (which of course first have to be installed like explained above)
Also "PC Suite for Nokia 6600" is able to install these files when the phone is connected via bluetooth or infra red.
And just another tip: when installing, the .sis-file will be temporarely uncompressed into the internal memory. So be sure you have at least as much free internal memory as the .sis-file's file size.

OK, but I will skip idiot-steps like "turn your phone on"
Put you card into the card reader and create a folder like you're used to. Call it "temp" or "tmp" or whatever you like (I'm sure you know how to create a folder in Windows).
Copy every .sis-file you want to install in this folder.
Put the card back into your phone.
Go to Menu -> Tools -> File manager
Press the stick to the right, you're now browsing the memory card.
Browse to the temporary folder.
Mark the .sis-file you want to install and press the stick.
The rest should be selfexplaining.

To remove software from your phone, go to
Menu -> Application Manager
Mark the software you want to uninstall and press the "c" button (the one that deletes stuff)
(this is also explained in the manual!)
I don't think you can use it via infrared, but you can do it via bluetooth, but it's quite complicated. Search the forum for "gnubox", it will give you some hints.

Everything that the browser can display, will be displayed.
You need Opera Browser for using the bluetooth connection as internet connection.
Java and flash content are not supported.
Setting up the connection is difficult, never done it, so I can't support you doing it.
