Hi i recently got a motorola v80 and i have downloaded some .jar and.jad and i want to put them on my phone. I have mobile phone tools for motorola but that doesn't let you put games on it. So how can i put java games onto my phone. I need a step by step guide in standard terms.

Try the tutorial section.

In short you can use p2k Tools KJava section - but this isn't too reliable.

Or enable the Java app loader using the UID tool from http://developer.motorola.com/?path=1.2.6.30

Then use Midway or motorola midlet manager to do the install

Follow the getting connected guide at http://www.motomodders.net/Default.aspx?tabid=68&articleType=ArticleVi ew&articleId=54

Then use the UID tool to enable the java app loader

Then you can use Midway or motorola midlet manager to install games. You need .jar files and .jad files - but you can create a .jad from a .jar

Take a look at http://www.ic.sunysb.edu/Stu/cdigiamo/tutorial/v220/tut.html - the steps above are shortcuts to some of the steps shown

Be aware many games will not work on the V3
