Love it or hate it?
It seems everywhere I look now, I see tattoos or piercings, I personaly like the change, what are your thoughts on this craze for body art?
I love tattoos and piercings, I am pierced and tattooed is a form of self expression and life style for me. icon_heart.gif
Anyone have any tattoos or piercings?
All thoughts are welcome, I want to share opinions and perhaps answer any questions anyone might have about the subject. icon_grin.gif

same here...rocking 6 tats. only one shows if i'm wearing a short sleeve. i live in seattle, so i don't have a problem with wearing long sleeves.

i got these 4 when i was younger, and a newb to the tattoo scene.

left shoulder: chinese symbol loyalty
right shoulder: chinese symbol faith
chest: chinese symbol strength
upper back: chinese symbol promise

later got these

right forearm: personal artwork...not done yet, still in it's initial steps

mid-lower back: personal artwork

i'm thinking about doing one more on my left forearm...

was thinking about becoming a tattoo artist at one time, but i don't have a steady hand. tattoos are cool to have as a form of expression and whatnot. i just think it's funny when people try to tell me that tats are evil cause you're mutilating your body. but if that's true, isn't it the same thing as getting earrings?!

the jail break entry was hilarious russ

Nice flames, I like the shading work on them. icon_smile.gif I have seen some pretty odd tattoos I like to hang out at Star Tattoo Parlor out here in New Mexico, it has won the Best Tattoo Parlor award for the past 3-4 years and the artist who is tattooing me works for them his name is Alex W, this is their website www.startattoo.com. If anyone ever visits the state it would be a cool place to visit.
I personaly will begin work on my back peace within the end of the year. I went in today to have a celtic cat circle added to my wrist ban. It looks amazing, I love it. I need to take some good pictures of it though, a camara phone does not do it justice icon_wink.gif.
The first part of my back piece will be a japanese style tiger wrapped around my back.

Something I thought I would never read icon_biggrin.gif
Everybody seems to have a MySpace site nowadays.
I always thought you were much younger than me or much older... but only one year older? icon_biggrin.gif

Back to the topic: I like tattoos, but I don't have any... was thinking about getting a xXx like Vin Diesel had in the movie... but the money...

Piercings are a no-no for me... I dislike them... not hate them... still respect the people...
A girlfriend of mine had a piercing in her nose... not a ring, but some sort of pin... it was extreme annoying while we kissed...

Yeah that is a little extreme! But fun to look at, I doubt I would ever get my face tattooed.
I plan on sleeves and a back piece but chances are my neck will be inked as well. I have a plan though! Is ok icon_wink.gif
I like those sleeves t-shirts a couple of those looked real definitly cheaper than getting sleeved. Hehehe

As for piercings I have the snake bites, those were painful and hard to maintain to this day they still become sore sometimes.
Here is a couple of pictures of them :

I like the studs better but the rings were necessary since my lips blew up to catastrophic proportions!
