where is the space bar on this thing?
im about to upgrade my new every 2 plan, and am considering one of these phones.
everyone and their mother has a razor- plus i think they are a little flimsy/heavy feeling..
does the 9900 fold back flat, or does the hinge stop it from folding all the way? also .. can you talk while the phone is open? .... i mean, im upgrading from my lgvx 6000 so anything is going to be better.
didnt want to get raped with a data/voice plan, so i think a pda phone is out of the question... how good is this phone and what will come out in the next month so after i buy this i can shoot myself in the foot because i didnt wait for..
you catch my drift.. anyways, scale of 1-10, 10 being get this phone at all costs .. whats your score?

ok - help me out here -- im between the 9900 and the 8600.
obviously two different phone styles. ive had a flip phone for a while and LOVE IT. the 8600 is a better upgrade IMO than the razor, or any other flip phone.
does anyone know if the email software for the 9900 is 19.99 monthly? or a one time subscription fee? the answer to that question will probably be my deciding factor.
i want to probably step away from a conventional flip phone as i have had one for almost 4 years now. the 9900 looks pretty cool although it might be nice to have a sleeker, smaller, skinnier - new and improved, shinny black phone.
ahhh i cant decide, someone push me in a direction!
anyone who has either of these phones, please tell me what you love/hate. thnx!

Can anyone help me with info on the 9800V ?? I have been emailing ringtones to it, but it saves them as sounds. Sounds won't work as ringtones ??

Well, the 8600 is def. thinner but I wouldn't say the 9900 is FAT either. I just got the 9900 and had the 7000 before and the 9900 is 2/3 the thinness of that so.. The 9900 is slightly thicker than the chocolate so.. Also, I love my 9900. Pictures are really nice (2.0mega) and the speakers are sweet for mp3 playback. The 8600 is a very sleek phone and I would have gotten it except for two things: 1) camera has no flash 2) the numerical keypad isn't raised at all- completely flat and I found it a little cumbersome to dial #'s on the fly. Try b4 you buy! You get that 15 day return/switch with verizon so relax!

phillyred - can you tell me about the email feature of the 9900? do you use it and if you do, how much does it cost.
i was in the store trying them the other day and say i had to pay a fee, 19.99, for use of the email program, which i had no problem charging the verizon store model phone for use, but what i forgot to look at was if it was a monthly fee or a one time fee?
this will also be a big deciding factor in getting the phone. not like i need to check my email in those 2 hours i am not in front of a computer working each day but it would be nice to have on my phone, although not for 20 bucks a month.
also, how is the phone call quality? thanks for any advice.

I bought the LG 9900 on 11/25706 in Bellingham, WA. It will not sync with Windows Media Player 10. Error message 00D11CD: Unknown error
Windows Media Player encountered an unknown error. This can occur when another program or operating system component encounters a problem but does not communicate the nature of the problem to Windows Media Player.
Error ID = 0xC00D11CD, Condition ID = 0x00000000
Verizonwireless tech said it's a Window's problem and Window's said it was a Verizonwireless problem. LG tech did not have a clue about the problem because the phone is so new and sent me back to Verizonwireless.
Anybody have any suggestions?
