I have had mine for about a month now and Love it. I do not see how you can "announce" Calls. Help me out on that please.

Tools- phone settings- voice commands-call alert.
then choose from ring only.caller ID + ring, or name repeat.

I am still learning a ton about this phone, but that is cool Thank you. I got that set up.
I do not see the front not locking as a problem. You can set the time for how fast it locks.
Another thing that have not figured out is if you go to the display themes and set the VZW on you can not get to all of the main menu Items.

Yes you can. Some are in different places.like navagator. It goes under Get It Now instead of having it's own icon. Be more specific and I can try to help, but theres a faster way.
Just call Verizon support for free at 1-800-922-0204. after you put in your phone # hit "zero" and skip the phone tree. Have a list of questions you want answered about ANY details. There real cool about answering everything. If they get stuck they'll hook you up to tech support. And it's all free. Heck, that's what there getting paid for, might as well use it.
I've asked every dumb question there is and more so don't be shy, and have something to write down the answers on. I like VZW better because it makes my wallpapers look cooler without that baby blue stuff.
And don't forget to turn off the ERI banner (waste of space on a too small screen)

Is there a way to turn the Blue banner on the bottom off on the out side? The one that shows missed calls and alarms?

If you dont have anything turned on that will show an icon there, then it will go away

I just bought my 9900.and I love it!
But here's the problem I'm having.I got the music essentials pack and downloaded/installed everything. I get ready to sync everything and when I go to Sync mode in my phone, it says "check your cable connection to the PC" on the phone. What's even worse is that my computer (windows XP) makes the sound of a USB device being taken out.and once the message pops up on the phone, the sound of a USB being inserted plays!
Pretty frustrating.what should I do?

Check to make sure that they gave you the right one. They gave me one for a Chocolate and it was all goofy when I tried to use it. Once they got me the right one all was great and worked very well.
