My issue is very similar and could be related, but far more irritating. I am pretty sure I changed the setting that everyone here is talking about. I didn't know until I started having issues. Mine isn't a problem when I send picture text, mine is an issue when I press the menu button. I cannot access my menu at all! Everytime I press it my screen flashes white then goes back to the main screen. Which means I cannot reset to factory settings, I cannot access most of the features on the phone. I can answer my phone, make calls and I can text message, including picture text. I have lost access to notepad and the information I stored there. I cannot play the games I have purchased. I am extremely frustrated. I contacted T-Mobile and they are mailing out a replacement phone. I decided I am fed up with this one and selected an alternate phone now. I am very disappointed with this situation. I am very inconvenieced. I only had the phone about 3 months. which sounds like a record for this phone. I have not seen my exact problem listed any where and wondered if anyone else had it.

Hi I have a 6133 also and am going to unlock it and move over to at&t service. I want to flash it with nokia's generic firmware. I downloaded nokias firmware installer from, darn I can't post links yet, but software downloads and support section has the 6133 for firmware upgrades
nokiausa dot com
But not sure yet if this is generic firmware or t-mobile firmware
