Yah, i have no idea its not a hard wear issue though. If i press the arrow keys hard enough and enough times i get limited use, so i did a master reset of the phone and they worked...for about a week and now i cant use them periode. Also my 9 key is starting to do the same thing. Any ideas?

Flashing a monsterpack would eliminate software - but it sounds more like hardware to me - software doesn't know how hard you are pressing keys

I still think its hardware - god knows why master reset gave you temporary reprieve - whatever its hardware

It's the hardware - sounds like a bad contact in the keypad - this happens a lot with the Razrs. It looks like you're looking at an option for a replacement.

I am having the same exact problem as ecoh419. Arrow keys arent working, but every once and a while the down key will do something. The 9 key doesnt work either. Did anyone ever figure this out? For all those saying its hardware, what are the chances of us having the same exact problem? Seems like it would be software, but maybe not?

I am having the same issue. When I press my down arrow key, the phone's backlit display dims just like it does under normal circumstances. Which means this can't be a hardware issue. It's obviously detecting the button press.
