With talks of a breakup in the Sony Ericsson merger, do you think Sony will still be a strong mobile phone manufacturer? If you think so, would your loyalty lie with Ericsson or Sony?
I guess it all depends on the phones they make afterwards. In the past no one talked much about anything except Nokias.
I hope they don't end up splitting up since they're the closest one to topple Nokia one day. If they did end up ending their merger, it would definitely leave the them both worse off.
Just my 2 cents.

I've always been a fan of Sony electronics... and if they do break up, I'll remain by Sony's side. They make the best electronics and their cell phones are not up there, but I still like them nonetheless.

Ericsson for me. Sony overprices everything, and even though some of their products are really good they're crippled by their proprietary crap (re: MemoryStick). I'm also miffed with Sony for discontinuing it's Linux-Kit for PS2.

I'd have to go with Ericsson also. They have always made phones with chalk full of features. Sony monopolizes on everything they sell and charge an arm and a leg.

I would have to also agree. I would go Ericsson. Sony just isn't great at making mobile phones.

I would go with Sony, because before the T68 most of ericsson phones were crap in my opinion. Nokia was much better, and In my opinion the Sony J5/7 and Z5/7 were much better than any ericsson competition. I think most of P800 was developed by Sony.
I would most likely choose Sony, but then again, its who has the best phone in the best style (sony's style rocks)
