While using MPT the V180 and V220 doesnt not work and it says
"unable to communicate with the mobile phone"
Is there something I need to download or install in order for them to connect?

I have a V220 phone that I need to unlock. I am trying to use the phone overseas. It has locked up. I have downloaded the software for the p2kman.rar and the R364_G_OB.D1.... for the version reversal to R364 from R365. My problem is that I need the software to recognize my V220 phone on my pc. Does anyone have the motorola software to recongize the v220 phone?

By the way, I just came across this website yesterday night, and it is really informative. This is the first time I am posting to this site.
Thanks. I am really hoping that someone can help me on this.

I clicked on the website you provided and it doesn't find the page. Is there another website or something else I could do to find the Motorola driver for the phone for it to work with my MPT.
Thank you

After the set up of your phone the first time you plugged in the phone to the computer, did it say that MPT could not find your phone?

No, when I first plug in my phone it doesnt do anything usually it would say found new hardware or something but it doesn't do anything. Then I try to transfer something through MPT and it says "unable to communicate with mobile phone". So I thought I just had to update the driver or something?

Try turning off your phone, taking out the battery and sim card, wait a few minutes and then put the items back into the phone. Then see if it works. If it doesn't work, follow the next step.
Okay, uninstall MPT. Put the disc back in the PC and then let MPT download again. After it has downloaded, connect your phone into the computer (when told to) and let your computer set up your MPT profile. If your computer doesn't find the phone, then a window will pop up asking you if you want to make a live update to find your phone. Press cancel and then another window will pop asking if you want to manual find your phone. Press OK. You will be taken to a new screen. Click the select from a list option, then you will have to find your phone. If you chose the correct phone it should work.
