better camera on the sync (2MP vs VGA)
free software to connect to your pc ($40 for moto-tools)
cool pressure buttons on front
faster internet
stereo bluetooth profile
cheaper after rebates (at least it was for me, $49 for sync, $79 for razor)

everyone (including your grandmother) has a razor these days.

I had a slvr (the candybar version of the razor) and I like the Sync much better except for the media player. The itunes player was easy to use, but motorola doesn't use that anymore.

The v3r has a 1.3MP not VGA(the standard V3 has VGA) identical to the sync, the internet is both Edge. everything else seems right

Oh I could be wrong, I was thinking of the 417 but the sync is 3g vs. Edge.

Moto does still use itunes, they call it the V3i

v3i=v3r only the v3r has a generic music player not itunes
