Hello. I have had the same plan for years now. I never went over on my minutes. I was a former AT&T customer that migrated to Cingular but stayed with the AT&T plan. Well yesterday I get a bill from Cingular - and this bill is in a whole different format than the previous bills; also it is on smaller paper. The bill was for 111.00. I was floored. My bills are always the same every month - about $40.00. I note that they are in the process of transitioning former at&t customers to cingular billing. Thus, the new look of the bill. They must be applying the minutes differently because I talked more the past three months than the most recent and this is the only time I ever allegedly went over my minutes. What the heck is going on? I have done nothing differently and even talked more previously. I find it highly suspect that I get this huge bill during this "transition."

That's nothing. I called Cingular yesterday to question why my bill was for $675.00 and they told me that I had gone over my minutes by 3000. Like you, I've done nothing different in regards to my phone usage. My bill went from $200.00 a month to $600.00 a month. I have two phone on my account, but this increase happened within a months time and I have been a Cingular customer since 2001. When I contacted them they told me that my next bill was going to be $2000.00. Do you know if there is anyone to contact about this, this is outrageous! I know that someone contacted the President of the company. Who is this person and how do I get in contact with him.

Just call and actually be nice to people and don't yell at us. Don't start off the conversation with "this is what your gonna do for me!" or "your company messed up!" if we messed up the bill we will be glad to help. But actually listen to what we have to say. It's amazing that people don't actually get how the bills are laid out.
