It'll work for cingular, but it won't work on 850 towers only 1900 im not aware of which towers are which or where to find such info, google is your best bet.

I am also considering to buy and unlocked phone off of ebay. Specifically a Motorola W375. The phone is only a triband though and does not support GSM 850. I did find some maps of coverage for Cingular for my area.
As far as I can see GSM 1900 has coverage in my area. It actually appears GSM 1900 has better coverage. My current phone is dual band 850/1900 and I get 4 bars at my house. As far as I can see I would be fine buying this phone but I'm not sure. Do you guys think that I would be fine buying this phone or not?
