Hello, I am needing help with my Cingular Contract.
I am currently with Cingular, but I am wanting to switch contracts with T-Mobile to get a T-Mobile Sidekick 3. The only thing is that my contract with Cingular doesn't end until next year August. So the problem is, how do I get out of this contract and can go with T-Mobile without spending to much money?
Also, I have lost my phone with Cingular. So I do not have the SIM Card to swap SIMS.

No it's not.
If it's a 2 yr contract before Feb 2006 it is $10 for each remaining month in a 2 yr contract.

$175 is for all contracts after Feb 2006, unless he's in the Phily market, then it's $150.

It is for all contracts that have been signed AFTER Feb 2006. Before that, it's the proratedness.

Proration is dependent on your market. Before February of 2006 in the Upstate New York market, your initial ETF was $240.00. It reduces $10.00/month if you signed a twenty-four month contract, or $20.00/month if you signed a twelve month contract. If you want a more detailed answer, you're best calling your service provide and just asking them straight out.
