I'm shopping for an MP3 player at the moment, but I can't find one that isn't either made by Apple or fugly as hell.
Does anyone have any recommendations?

Don't get the Zune, everybody will laugh at you (especially me! ). Microsoft build a crappy player...
How about Philips or Creative?

phillips isn't very big in the N. American market, but i hear they make good products.
the zune is sweet. the screen is sweet. the wifi is sweet. and the wifi possibilities aer sweet. laugh at that!
and i definitely agree with creative.
check a site like www.cnet.com for some good reviews/info on different players.

WiFi sounds good, but what Microsoft did with it... horrible!
And the Zune isn't compatible with Microsoft's own "Play for sure"...

i know...but i don't have any plays for sure! I still think that's crappy. and for wifi, at least it has the ability, which can be upgraded, and i'm sure it will be.
but i guess all you need is a nokia, eh bjoern?
