Hi, i have purchased a motorola v80 off ebay. It has hong kong orange firmware on it. I heard that you can contact your telco and they will give you programs to change it. is it true because i want to change the firmware to optus. Because i live in australia and it has a different language on it and i cant change it even when its set to english it has like these links to downlaod stuff in the images and stuff and has mobile qq instead of chat. Has anybody had experience with it and know if optus (my telco) will do it? icon_question.gif

They will probably send you the settings for GPRS and MMS but thats all

I doubt they will be willing to supply new flex and / or lang pack even if they have them available
